We were asked to supply one day hire of a promotional bus for Lancashire Cheese to promote National Cheese on Toast Day, in and around Lancashire.
The promotional vehicle would be preparing toasted cheese sandwiches to give away, would require minimal branding but would require mains power to run the toasters.
Budgets where tight so the vehicle had to be low cost.
After reviewing the clients brief we recommended a standard double decker bus with some of the seating removed, with a portable generator providing the power for the toasters.
The client accepted the recommendation and we sourced a suitable double decker bus that was capable of undertaking the gruelling whistle-stop tour of Liverpool, Manchester, Bolton, Burnley, Preston and Blackpool within the allocated timescale.
Note: Most double decker buses have a maximum speed of 45 mph, however we have access to a number of standard buses which have been upgraded for such travel
We arranged for most of the lower deck seating to be removed and a generator, the client arranged for the exterior of the vehicle to be branded
The event was covered by a number of local newspapers and the client was "Over the Moon with all aspects of the promotion"
