RSP05 or ‘Harvey’ is a Dennis Dart SLF Single Decker bus and our longest serving single decker, the bus was, after a short life as a service bus, converted by Birmingham NHS as a 2 consultation room health bus mobile clinic, this interior remained, with minor adjustments, within the bus until 2016, when the interior undertook the first of 2 major improvements.
The first improvement was the removal of one of the consultation rooms, which was replaced with an open plan area suitable for exhibition, promotional or training roles, with the installation of a removable wall we can quickly reinstall the 2nd consultation room and waiting area. The 2nd improvement was made to the electrical system, improving and simplifying the generation and distribution of mains electricity throughout the vehicle, with the inclusion of solar panels, inverter and leisure batteries.
